On December 3, 2024, the County of San Mateo’s Department of Housing issued a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA), allocating an estimated $4.4 million in FY 2025-2026 funding from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), the HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), the State Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA), and the State/Federal Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) programs.
On March 6, 2025, the Housing and Community Development Committee (HCDC) will solicit public comment regarding the FY2025-2026 Annual Action Plan for CDBG, HOME, and ESG funds as well as funding recommendations for State ESG and PLHA projects. The HCDC will also finalize revisions to the Community Participation Plan, which, along with the NOFA, can be accessed at https://www.smcgov.org/housing or a copy can be picked up at the DOH offices located at 264 Harbor Blvd, Bldg.
